Following Jackola?s facility assessment and planning for this long established rural school in Kalispell, a new 3,500 SF addition was designed to connect the existing gym and cafeteria to the nearby building housing classrooms and administration spaces.

It was imperative that this project be completed entirely during the summer months when school was not in session. Extensive communication with the school board, community, contractor and the faculty was required in order to successfully complete the project under these tight time constraints while meeting expectations.

The addition included two new classrooms, reception and waiting areas, a handicap rest room, and entry vestibule. Renovations to the existing cafeteria, gym foyer, and administrative offices were also completed as a part of this project. This project was funded by a Quality Schools Facility Project Grant, therefore a fixed budget had to be maintained.
